Data and code accompanying Dunfield-Thurston's experimental verification of the virtual Haken conjecture for the 10,986 closed hyperbolic 3-manifolds of the Hodgson-Weeks census.

Companion page to the Dunfield-Thurston paper ‘The Virtual Haken Conjecture: Experiments and Examples’, providing a 3 MB archive of GAP code and data: the 10,986 manifolds of the Hodgson-Weeks census, each with a fundamental-group presentation and a homomorphism to a symmetric group whose kernel has positive Betti number, plus data on simple covers for 1,000 of the manifolds, the cusped SnapPea census manifolds, and statistics-generating code.
